readit4 Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 Thank you Seallte_indian.I am not sure as DOL saying they need time at least until Septmeber end to clear the backlog. my h1 Expires September 9th , may have to leave USA and come back when i get my H1b. What if I receive the approval notice after 8/29? Can I still work on L1 until I receive the approval notice on L1 with my current employer? Won't it be illegal? How many day gap can we give between the new start date on H1 approval notice and the actual start date with the new employer? Link to comment
