collegian
Hello, I was employed by employer A and they filed my PERM and I got I-140 approved based on which my H-1B got extended beyond the 6 year period. My I-140 got approved 5 years ago. This year I switched to employer B. Now, if I wish to switch to employer C or if I want employer B to file an H-1B extension my behalf do I need a new PERM and I-140 approval from employer B or can I rely on employer A's approved I-140 to switch or renew H-1B? Please advise. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
Employer C will be able to file for your transfer with your I-140 approval from previous employer. Quote Link to comment

For a transfer, I-140 from a previous employer (in this case A) can be used. I dont think you have an I-140 from employer B yet. adshah84
You can change to employer C by using I140 from employer A without any issue. I did the same 2 years back. Quote Link to comment
