sherlock2 Posted July 28, 2011 Report Share Posted July 28, 2011 @ Nihal in the same boat as you, applied last week of Jan, haven't heard anything yet (6 months already) my bro's sept 2010 filed i140 was approved in June which is like 9 months....so I am now thinking it could be sept/oct before we hear anything.... weird part is, one of my friends applied in feb, he got approval in may itself... uscis doesnt want to talk to the beneficiary, they simply said they can only speak to the employer's approved representative/attorney ....over the phone. Did not hear from Lawyer yet! I checked the status online on Aug 4th and it said that we have sent notice of approval on Aug 2nd. So may be the notice is in the mail on the way to the lawyer.
