Now my girlfriend - born Thailand and we are about to get married soon end of this year. So when my i140 approved under premium (EB2) by end of this year and I apply for change of status I485 - adding my wife from Thailand , what can be the WAIT TIME for change of status / green card approvals . any suggestions that I need to take care of ? newacct Posted January 8 Report Share Posted January 8 An EB2 priority date of Oct 2023 cannot file I-485 now, even if you cross-charge to your wife's country of birth. Quote Link to comment

P.M Posted March 24 Report Share Posted March 24 I suspect a layoff. My i140 is approved in EB1C since feb 2023. Can i file i485 (AOS) even while date is not current for IN. Can i file new i140 and i485 concurrently and port the date from earlier i140 (Feb2023). Is there any option to expedite the AOS ? Quote Link to comment
