I need to renew my GC . During my GC renewal, would there be any questions on why I didnt convert to Citizen and how do I need to handle those questions in interview

There is no requirement that a GC holder become a citizen.

No. There is no requirement to file for US citizenship. Lots of people have been on GC for decades.
