dinesh.nani
Hi All, I am currently in USA with H1B Visa issued in passport with validity until 2024 with my earlier employer A. Recently I have joined a new employer B with approved I797A (H1B transfer) valid until 2025. I have a family emergency and needed to go for a short trip to India. Unfortunately I couldn't find any interview or drop box slots during this time. 1. Can I enter in to USA with H1B Visa from employer A and original I797 approval notice from employer B ? 2. If employer A decided to revoke I797 during my travel, would that impact my already issued H1B Visa with it? Please suggest Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
You should be able to enter USA with H1b visa from previous employer A with all supporting documents of new employer. Make sure your passport has enough validity to accommodate I-94 stamp at POE until 2025. Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
Yes. You can use the existing visa stamp in your passport with the H1 approval of a new employer. Revocation by A has no effect on the visa. Quote Link to comment
JoeF
You can travel with the new approval notice and the old valid visa. Quote Link to comment
