H1b unused/expired petition

Hi there,

I have an approved/stamped H1b petition from 2011-14 for Company A that is unused and expired. Never travelled on that visa or worked on H1b.

Can I use this petition to work for another employer in the US?

I am currently on H4 visa in the US.

No, that petition is gone. Try H4 EAD it may be much easier route.

Can I use this petition to work for another employer in the US? -- that is gone. You need new petition. I feel no need to go through lottery.

If you find an employer, run it by him (if he is associated with an experienced attorney).  Some have found success using previously approved H1b's
