H1B after revoked petition and tourist visa

Hi Awesome people,

I have two questions. I applied for H1 visa in 2014 with employer X and got the petition approved. I also got the visa stamped along with my spouse but never travelled. One year later, I left the company and the employer revoked my petition.

1. Can I apply under H1 cap exempt if an employer likes to offer me a job?
2. For this summer, I would like to apply to visitor visa to travel to US with my spouse for tourist purposes. Can I apply for tourist visa without impacting my chances of H1 in future?

Ans 1.   Get an experienced attorney and try for an H1b with your previous approved H1b, if an employer likes to offer you a job.  Some have found success.
