Budh
Hi Forum, I am from India and live in PA with my family of 4 (wife and 2 kids) for the last 2 years on F1 Visa. I did complete my MS in March 2021. In the month of March my employer applied my H1b Visa in Master Degree Quota and my name got picked up, but now he is saying your college is a "For Profit" college and if he files my petition i will get denial, so i just go ahead with my STEM OPT and he will file next year in Bachelor's Degree Quota. Please Help me. I will appreciate your valuable comments and suggestion. Quote Link to comment
coke23
Ask your college if it is actually "For Profit" ..I guess some Majors may be "For Profit" and some may not be..Check with them and ur international student advisor Quote Link to comment
adshah84
If your MS is from "For Profit" you are not eligible for Master's quota. Quote Link to comment
JoeF
Care to tell us the name of the college? The Masters quota is only available for people with a degree from a public or non-profit private university. Quote Link to comment
