H1b Approved - H4 in Progress Situation What status am I in

My spouse has received an H1b in the 2020 quota which starts from Oct 1. But she had also applied for an H4 extension which is still in progress. My h1b extension is approved but her H4 is still pending.

1. Do the lawyer need to request a revocation for her H4 her H4 expires Oct 1st 

2. Will her H4 extension interfere with the H1b which starts from Oct 1st? She wants to be on H1b for obvious reasons. Please help if you are in a similar situation. What staus will she be in on Oct 1 if her H4 gets approved? If so is the H1b invalid?

1. I feel on Oct 1st if you want your spouse on H1B then you need to revoke H4.

2 I feel no. But I may be wrong.

If the H4 is approved after Oct 1st, she will be back in H4. Last action rule will impact her. Its better to talk to an attorney and withdraw the petition at the right time.

If your spouse has an approved H1b, then speak with an attorney and revoke the H4.  She can only be on ONE status at a time.
