Also, I am getting my H1B visa filed this April. My husband's employer will file for his H1-B extension in 2 weeks. When should I file for my H-4 extension? Does my spouse's employer should file for my H4 extension along with his H1B extension? Would there be issues since I am also filing for H1B this year? What is the correct process to do it? Is premium processing required in this case?

Yes that is how most people file h4 extension. adshah84 Posted February 25, 2019 Report Posted February 25, 2019 I would suggest to file H4 along with H1b extension in premium.
pontevecchio Posted February 26, 2019 Report Posted February 26, 2019 Have them file your H4 extension with his H1 extension. Later on you can nd return with a H1 visa if your H1 is picked up.
