Rvision1
Hi All, I have applied my H1B extension on 10 Jan 2019 under premium processing and it got approved with Ending Validity Date – 31 May 2019. My current visa stamping on my India Passport expired on 01 Sept 2018. I need to travel to India in first week of February 2019 on some personal emergency and so need to go for visa stamping in India (dropbox if eligible) before flying back to USA in first week of March 2019. Note : My employer has already filed my PERM and I-140 has approved. My question is: Considering above scenario, is it safe to travel to India and do stamping. Could there be any problems during stamping and Port of Entry since only 4 months are remaining? Please help. Link to comment

pontevecchio
The 4 months remaining will have no bearing on your visa or your visit or return. Link to comment
