H4 EAD RENEWAL

Hi.. I am an h4 visa holder whose ead is expiring on august 10, 2017. I live in the United States. My question is how many months in advance do I need to apply for ead renewal. Is there a timeline or I can apply even after the expiry. How much is the filing fees. Further I am planning to visit India for 15 days in June. If I apply for renewal in may will it have any consequences on my visa. Or do you suggest i apply for renewal after my return. Thanks

You can apply 180 days before expiry date. You can apply after expiry also. Fee is $410. Better to apply after you come back.
