H1B Transfer - Setting the end date and start dates

Hello, I have received the H1B transfer approval for my new employer and trying to set the start date with them. I wanted to check if I should "Exactly align" the end date from the previous employer and start date of the new employer? Or can there be few dates of overlap? Would love to understand that aeap.

I’m in same boat and My employer’s attorney said no overlap should be there.

Btw do you see a small qr scan code like thing on the upper top left of your new approval i797 ?

I feel a week or 2 will be Ok between employers start date/end date

there shouldn't be any overlap.

Legally one is allowed 60 days in this situation to join the new employer.
