pontevecchio
How is it trouble? Why would you need a new visa? Generally you can use the existing visa and the latest H1 to enter unless there is something you are not telling us. Link to comment

Do you have the Visa stamped with Multiple entries..? if yes then you don't need to go for visa stamping again. Just show you new petition at POE while returning back to US to get the valid I94 till the new petition end date.. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Multiple entries are automatically allowed by virtue of having a H1 visa and an approved H1 Petition. There is nothing called a H1 visa stamped with multiple entries. Answering questions is good. Please make sure your facts are sound. Link to comment

On the Visa stamp we have something called as "Entries" which says Single or Multiple Do you mean for H1B folks the visa is always issued with multiple entries but no chance of being single entry...? Is that true... Link to comment
pontevecchio
H1 VISAS ARE NEVER SINGLE ENTRY. so the question of multiple entry is redundant as you can enter repeatedly as long as you have an approved H1 petition from the employer you are coming to join. Link to comment
cap-gap
yes..for Indians it is multiple entry for F1 and H1..B1/B2 can be a single entry when issued for conferences etc., for Chinese it used to be single entry when I was on F1, more than a decade ago.. Link to comment
satish.sap970
This is still not clear as in the past I have seen people who has got the visa stamp as "Single" in the entries column of the visa for H1B... Are there any restrictions for multiple entries based on the countries for H1B...?? Link to comment
