H1 Approved recently - H4 Stamping this month

Hi

I applied H1B for my wife on the April'16 cap, she is currently in India and her H1 got approved, her H4 visa expired recently in Jan

Can she go for H4 stamping now, or does she need to wait until September or so to get the new H1 stamping

Please advise, thanks!

She can go for H4, but if she enters on H4 visa then she needs another H1 in order to work from Oct 1st.

She can get the H4 visa and come over now. She will need to return for the H1 visa in September or so and come over up to 10 days before the start in H1 status.
