h1 start date issue

Hi,

   i applied for my H1 extension on July 06 2015 which is about to expire on 9/30/2015,it was approved on april 20 2016. The issue is with start date on h1 copy. it says its valid form 4/20 2016. as uscis took very long time for approval, my h1 should start from 10/1/2015 instead of 4/20/2016. in between i have a gap of 7 months. 

 

could any one suggest me on what i have to do now? will it cause any problem when i go for H1 stamping. your valuable suggestions would help me a lot.

You are fine. From date on approved notice is always the date on which it approved.
