H1B extension processing H4 EAD?

Hi,

 

My H1B is expiring on OCT 27 2016. I started process of getting my H1B extension. My wife is on H4 EAD and it is expiring on OCT 27 2016. I have below questions

 

1) Do I need to apply H4 and H4 EAD for my wife or only H4 EAD is enough?

2) Do I need to get H4( if applicable) and H4 EAD approvals before Oct 27 2016?

3) Can I apply H1B extension, H4 ( if applicable) and H4 EAD all at once?
