I-140 Query

Hi,

 

My employer is not sharing the I-140 receipt number information with me nor any other details with related to same.

 

Is that something legal? If not, what is the best way to deal with that kind of situation and how can I get the receipt number information? What are all the possible ways?

He does not have to share this information. Why would you still stay with him? File a FOIA request and you MAY get the information you seek.

You need to wait till your I140 is approved and then use FOIA to get your I140 approval notice

 

If I were you, I would worry about my future not I140.

I have a follow up questions to my ask.

Does somebody has any link for the sample template or what is the exact form number that we need to fill in order to raise FOIA request?

Do I need to have any information with related to I-140 as I dont have any with me right now, and how did USCIS know to pull my I-140 records?
