Requirements of H4 EAD application and approval process.

Dear Attorney's

I am currently on H4 visa in US. My wife is working from past 3 years in US. I want to know more on how to apply for EAD. what are the documents required for applying EAD. Is every application gets approved for EAD. what is process of approval. How much time it takes to get approval.

Does your spouse (h1) has an approved I140 ? If yes then you are eligible for EAD.

My spouse(h1) has obtained LCA and is applying for i 140 approval through her employer. 

1. How much time it will take for approvals. Any way to expedite the process.

2. I want to apply for EAD so that i can work in US. What time period it takes for EAD approvals.

After LCA she need to apply for PERM and it will take 6-8 months average. 

After that she have to apply for I140 in premium and it will come within two weeks. 

After that you can apply for EAD.

It's not LCA it's LC. 140 takes up to 5 months but u can file it in premium to get it in 15days
