lay off while on AOS

Hi,

 

I'm currently working on EAD with a different employer. I'm afraid off being laid off, if so, how long I could be unemployed and whether unemployment will impat my green card processing. 

 

Also, what is the definition of working full time w.r.t. immigration, is it 40 or between 35-40 a week?

 

Any help will be grately appreciated.

You do not need to work with the EAD. The question is whether the GC job will be available to you and whether the USCIS will ask proof in the form of an RFE??
