chandrajayam
My Wife, son (7yrs), daughter(2yrs) are having tickets to Boston-Heathrow-Chennai on 3rd-Dec. But connecting Chennai Flights are cancelled until 6th-Dec. Family visa is expiring on 6th-Dec. I spoke to Airlines they are ready to reschedule tickets upto 11th-Dec. Question: If i reschedule tickets after 6th(US Visa expired) then my family may face hardship in Heathrow. Please suggest? thanks Jaya. Link to comment
rahul412
when does their I94 expires? Visa expiration doesn't matter once the person is inside the US. Link to comment
Jyothis
Check the London requirements, they may still need a transit visa. Best would be to change the destination. instead of Chennai, see if they can give you Bangalore Calicut or Cochin. Link to comment
jairichi
They need a valid visa to enter US. Link to comment
jairichi
I am sorry for my previous reply. Without a valid US visa they cannot fly via London. Link to comment
viva2020
I am in the same situation but more concerned that a visa overstay in the US due to the cancellation will cause problems later on when coming back into the US. Is it ok to overstay by a couple days until we get a new flight? Will the natural disaster and airport shutdown be valid reasons for unintentional overstay? Link to comment
