H4 TO F1 stamping in India

Hi all,

I am on H4 and currently pursuing my Masters in a University in Georgia. I would like to change my status from H4 to F1.My H4 started in Oct 2014 and  My husband's Labor is still in process.Now,I am in a dilemma to decide whether to apply for COS here or go INDIA for stamping in December 2015.Please suggest me which is better.

Following are my details:

Completed Btech(CSE) in 2013 with 3.4GPA

GRE-290

IELTS-6.5

Started masters in Fall 2015 in Computer Science.

Are there any chances of getting acceptance in India or is it safe to apply COS here itself?

If you are planning a trip to India in December 2015, better go for stamping. That's easy and quick. If you don't have a planned trip then you can apply COS here which would take around 3 to 5 months. Make sure you pay your sevis fee before booking appointment.
