Final application action date to get GC 2. Date to file I-485 how is this going to work. For exp: I-485 is filed when someone is single but marries later. Will the spouse be able to attach on the application when Final application is submitted? Or will this only work when I-485 is submitted. Thanks. Link to comment
JoeF Posted September 13, 2015 Report Share Posted September 13, 2015 To correct Ponte's statement a bit: As long as you are married before your I-485 is approved you are fine. In the past, if the PD was current, approval came soon after the PD was current. With the change, it can be quite some time between filing the I-485 and approval. Link to comment
