Total stay more than 6 months but from approval date less than 6months

My GC approved on 07/08/2010, i was in India when it was approved.

I was in india 05/14/2010 to 12/31/2010 total trip is more than 6 months, but from approval date 07/08/2010 to 12/31/2010 it was less than 6 months (5 Months 23 days). 

 

Can i file my N-400 application now based on 5 years completion from approval date  or do i need to wait 6 months to file it 

 

since my tirp is less than 6months from approval date which is one will be applicable in my situvation from approval date or entry date from USA 01/01/2011.

 

Can anyone share ur ideas on this. If i file now it will be denied?

You can file now. Why is it so important that you cannot file in 6 months?

i was in Inidia whey my GC approved my total stay(05/14/2010 to 12/31/2010 is more than 6 months but from  07/08/2010 to 12/31/2010 it was less than 6 months (5 Months 23 days). 

 

From approval date  07/08/2010 now i finished 5 Years but my questions is whether my period of stay will include in this 5 years or will it exclude since it is more than 6 months total stay form approval date it was 5 months 23 days. So from which date07/08/2010 or 12/31/2010 my greencard will be effective.  Can you share your thoughts on this.

Do you qualify based on the requirements from the date of your GC approval? Look up I476 Instructions and if you are eligible then file now.

yes, I looked at 476 Instructions, i meet all the requirements if i am understand correctly from my approval date 07/08/2010 , i finished 5 years and i stayed more than 30 months in total 5 years and my trip is also (07/08/2010 to 12/31/2010) less than 6months (5Months and 23 days) so i hope i will not have any issues

 

I hope it will be any issue for my total trip duration is more than 6 months but from approval date  it was less than 6 months . Thanks for your input
