Anand Subramanian
Hi, For the past 4 years (from 2011 on wards), I am working with same Employer 'X' and recently my 2nd extension approved by USCIS. And last month i traveled to India and finished my stamping process. And I have my visa stamped till Feb 2017 (My 2nd Extension). I am planning to change my company (To Employer 'Y') on AUG 2015. And i have a plan to go to India on Nov 2015. So in that case, do i need to go for Visa Stamping again ?(Because of My Employer and LCA got changed)? Please guide me on this. Thanks Link to comment
jairichi
No. You can travel with existing valid H1B visa and new employer's I797. Link to comment
Goluram
No need to re stamp your passport, you can use the existing valid stamp with new petition (I-797) while coming back to US. Link to comment
pradeepcsu
No Need to go for stamping, Just carry new I797 Link to comment
shekar11#
You don't need a new visa. You can use existing visa with new employer I-797. Link to comment
Attorney_21
Anand: No, you do not need to obtain a new visa "stamp" in this situation - you can travel on the existing visa until it expires, with the new (original) I-797 approval notice from company Y. Make sure that you present BOTH of these at the port-of-entry when you return. Link to comment
