ArjunReddy9 Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 Hi All, My Mom and Dad are here in the US on visiting visa and my brother-in-law is planning to apply Canadian visiting visa for them. Can he do that? Also regarding the bank statements, can he show his ones as I donot have good amount of money in mine? Please advise. Thanks
jairichi Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 Well, why your brother is applying for your parents? Your parents need to show their documents and not your's or your brother's. And, I doubt whether your parents can apply for a visitor visa to Canada while being on a visitor visa to US.
rahul412 Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 Yes he can, if your parents are from India they can get visa on arrival (that's what I heard).

rahul412 Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 Visa on arrival for Indian citizens in Canada? May be it's not yet confirmed.

We will submit all documents for my parents itself but since they are here in the U.S, I was wondering if we can send our brother-in-law's bank statements as supporting financial stuff.. Is this ok?

Is this ok? Not at all ok as your brother-in-law's financial statements are irrelevant to their visa application.
