anynemous
Hello Friends, Have a question on I-140 - H1 B 3 years extension. Currently me and my wife are on H1B visa. My daughter is my dependent. Once my I-140 is approved then I would get 3 years extension for me and my daughter. Here my question is: Can my wife also gets an 3 years extension based on my I-140 approval? or still she will continue with her H1? Please advice me on the same. Thanks. Link to comment
pontevecchio
She cannot get extensions beyond the 6 years. But she may be helped by the proposal for EAD for H4 people under certain circumstances. Link to comment

JoeF
H1 extensions past 6 years are ONLY for the primary GC applicant. Your spouse may look into H4 and EAD once that is enabled on May 26. Link to comment
