HaveQuestions Posted September 1, 2011 Report Share Posted September 1, 2011 Hi, I got my H4 to H-1B approved and approval date is 8/31/11. But i had a joining date of 9/19/11 from the company. Is it ok to be not employed during the interim (19 days) even though i am on H-1B? Or should i be employed immediately by the company i.e. be on their payroll? Link to comment

mshh123 Posted September 12, 2011 Report Share Posted September 12, 2011 I want to change from h4 to h1 and my visa is going to expire on sep 22 can i apply for change of status and did you submit any client letter when u filed for transfer ?if so did ur client give you one how did u convience to get letter from them ...please respond how long where u in h4 status coming to ur question i think u can talk to employer and ask him to give the paystubs accordingly Link to comment
