Travel to USA on B1/B2 while I129 petition is awaiting approval

Hi All,

I have a quick question.your valuable Suggestions are needed.

My I129 petition which is filed by my current Employer is still in initial review since April20,2011.Now My Employer is offering a Business trip to USA for 2-3 months on a project.

If i go to USA on B1/B2,will it show any impact on my H1B approval ? Do i have enough time to return back from USA after 3 months and attend visa interview ? BTW is this B1 trip considered as legal w.r.t US Laws ?

Please provide your suggestions ASAP as i need to respond back to my higher authorities.

Dear sir,

First of all,i would like to appreciate your valuable suggestion.

My plan for USA on a B1 was dropped as my H1b got approved on 20th.If things go well they are expecting me in october.

Sir, I have one more question.If i got my visa approved in august,can we enter USA on H1 visa in the month of september ?

You should have been made aware that one can enter on the H1 visa up to 10 days before the start date.
