H1 stamping approved on Oct 7th Vancouver but waiting for the passport.

Hey Guys,

 

My passport got approved  for stamping on Oct 7th in Vancouver but the status still shows "Administrative Processing". Its been a week already and  I have started to get a little worried. Hotels here are quiet expensive and I am missing on work as well. Is anyone else in my boat ?

Yes many others in your boat, spill your beans, what all was asked? Are you 1st time h1? f1 to h1? Desi employer? EVC? EC? Full time?

mine also the same case. attended interview on 6th oct. they said visa approved. however its still showing administrative processing. Please let me know if the status changed to issued? if mine changed i will let you know. Thanks

Canada just had its Thanksgiving on Monday, 13th. It normally takes 3 - 5 business days for the visa to be issued and ready for pick up. You should receive an email in 1 to 2 days. Good Luck..

My interview was on Oct. 7th. After a long wait, it just shows "ISSUED" when u check online.

But still no waybill number.

 

 

To me they said it took this long because my info wasn't updated on PIMS so they had to send it on my interview day.

 

Interview was short and sweet. Not much asked.

gmotwani: Did you get your WayBill number yet? Or have you been able to pick up your passport? 

 

I am also waiting to pick up my passport in Ottawa. I was scheduled to leave today but am in the process of extending my departure to tomorrow!

if the website says issued - go to loomis. they should have the passport the next day!
