My Green Card and Wife's EAD

Hi Gurus,

My date is going to be current from Aug 1. All of my paper work is already filed in 2012 and I'm just waiting for my card. On August 1st, I will be filing my wife's I-485 and 765 (EAD) applications. My question is if I get my green card and my wife is on EAD and if the date retrogresses, would my wife be out of status?

No. She will await AOS. Search the Murthy law firm site for more information.

Yes, but not in a meaningful (for her) way. Her H4 status will be over, but she will be in adjustment of status, which is while technically not a status of its own, not anything to worry about.
