abirajdar Posted July 7, 2014 Report Share Posted July 7, 2014 Hi, My change of status got approved from h4 to f1. But I have to travel to India next month, so will try to get my stamping done. I have the I20 issued by the college but on the I20 in the column of "this certificate is issued to the student named above for" Initial attendance - change of status. My question is, is this i20 valid for visa stamping as it says change of status, or do we need to ask for new i20. We have the I797 approved for change of status for F1. Thanks, Abhi Link to comment
