My H1B visa will expire on Sep30,2014 . I am planning to apply H1B extension this weekend with normal H1B Extension process. Could you please let me how much time it will take to complete the total process of H1B extension now a days with Normal process. Link to comment

You mean your employer is filing for H1B extension? 3 to 4 months in regular processing and 15 calendar days by premium processing. Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 The visa is not material. When does your H1 petition and I94 expire? Your employer can only apply for an extension up to 6 months before the current H1 petition expires. Link to comment

t75 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Share Posted March 24, 2014 Your employer (if he is a good one) will have the attorney file in plenty of time. I suggest you not plan to travel around the time your petition expires in case there is a delay. Link to comment
