This will be my first H1 application.I have got offers from 2 consultancy's. 1)Can I go ahead and ask both the consultancy's to apply for me? 2)Will applying from 2 company's hamper my chances of getting the visa? You can't work for both employer, so stick to one employer to avoid contractual agreement issues. Link to comment
JoeF Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 Having petitions from two employers nowadays results in RFEs and audits, e.g., related to payment of the fees. I hope that you know that the employer has to pay the fees. It is illegal for you to pay the fees. And no sane employer would file an H1 petition (and pay for it) if the employer doesn't have the reasonable expectation that the person would start working there. Commit to one employer. wiweq Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 H1bs from different employers is not a problem. Just make sure that H1b fees should be paid by employer. Paying H1b fees by beneficiary is illegal. All the best. Link to comment
