H1B work status

Hi Everyone,

 

I completed my MS in Electrical & currently (on H1B status) working  in IT as system administrator as a contractor.

 

I have good Math skills & love to teach. So may I work part time with any teaching firm ? Will it be ok as concern to my work status? Can we do two jobs on H1B?

You can work only one full time job on H1B.

For any work outside of your current employer, you would need another H1. It is unlikely that you would get an H1 for a part-time teaching job outside of a university.
