Impact of Telangana state formation on H1B visa stamping in Canada

Hi,

 

I'm planning to schedule my H1B visa stamping around last week of April, 2014 in Canada.

 

I'm currently in a dilemma as to how the newly formed Telangana state would impact my visa stamping process.

My passport was issued by Hyderabad passport office and is valid until 2017.

But as the address on my passport is no longer valid due to Hyderabad being part of Telangana and erstwhile Andhra Pradesh no longer exists, will need to change my passport through Indian consulate in US before i apply for

1) Canadian tourist visa

2) H1B stamp on passport

 

Any help in regards to this matter is very much appreciated.

It has no relation to your visa. When you renew your passport you can change your address.
