kkdavuluri
Hi, I have got a query. One of my friend who recently got her H1B stamped. She is scheduled to fly this weekend but trip got canceled because of budgets. I have following questions, can you help me getting reply. 1. She never entered US, she got Visa until August 2014, now can she apply for Visa transfer? 2. If transfer is possible, can employer do this? 3. If so, what is the cost. PS: She hasn't traveled to US yet. Her VISA got stamped for first time, recently. Link to comment
t75
She needs a new sponsoring employer and can enter only with a new approval notice since the original employer no longer has an opening for her Link to comment

pontevecchio
It is not even a H1 transfer. She needs to find a new H1 employer to file and get a non cap H1 petition approved and then she can come over with the visa. Link to comment
