We are both looking foe jobs.I had questions about visa conversion. Does cap of 65,000 apply for J1 to H1 or J2 to H1? Is this requirement even for J1 need to be hired by non profit organization for cap exempt? Thank you. Link to comment

If moving to a non-profit organization then it is cap exempt H1B. Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted February 5, 2014 Report Share Posted February 5, 2014 Since you are subject to the 2 year HRR you should discuss your situation with a Good Lawyer. Examples include working in a designated health shortage area, CONRAD30 etc. The H1 cap is not material to you in many cases. Link to comment
