pavan.chintapalli
I joined company A in July... at that time they filed my H1B..However in December I left company A before a decision was made by USCIS on Company A H1B petition and I Joined Company B (after H1B is approved)...At this time I have no update on whether my Company A - H1B was approved or denied. My previous employer is not responding if I ask for my I797. I believe I should hold all my I797 copies for my future communications with USICS. Given the fact my employer is not responding, can I request USCIS directly to give me a copy of my Company A I979 (Approval/denial).. If Yes can some one let me know the process of how to do that? if not what is the best course of action? Link to comment
pontevecchio
You provide no details. If you got an I94 with the approval from B then frankly what A did or not does not concern you. Just move on. Link to comment
pavan.chintapalli
Will just a receipt number of company A h1B petition is enough in any of my future communications with USCIS? (in case if they need any clarification on whether I had any status gap?) Link to comment
