sai2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 hello my aunt had been to renew her b2 visa . she had a b2 visa previously and has travleed 3 times. she was reapplying after almost 5 years now. she is unmaaried and has no kids. she is also 70 years old her visa was rejected. it may sound that since shei sunmaaried and no kids hers might have got rejected but the officer did not even ask any further question. vo asked 1) whom are you going to visit ans: my niece or sister daughter ( my husband on h1 is sponsoring) 2) are you married no 3) do you have kids no 4) do you have property yes now when can she apply again and what can she change or proove for her ties. please help..... By the information provided she has no strong ties to home country. Very tough to get a visitor visa in this situation. Take the help of murthy law firm. And, there is no sponsorship involved in visitor visa. Link to comment

Their is nothing called sponsoring visiting visa. Applying visiting visa to visit non immigrants( like you and your husband) is not a valid application. Visiting visa is for tourism and pleasure trips and not for visiting family relatives. I hope you got my point. Link to comment

Does your spouse work for a small company maybe a DCC? no....only for 4 months and this was before i was married....i am doing her renewal vis aafter i got married previously her cousin who is a citizen had done it... now can her cousin do it again....or can she do self sponsorship Link to comment

She applies with her documents and based on her ability to convince VO that she has strong ties to home country she might get a visa. Link to comment

Ties in this instance mean NOTHING. Take the help of the firm of Murthy. Next time let her apply on her own and do not tutor her in any way for the Interview. Link to comment
