Goluram Posted January 15, 2014 Report Share Posted January 15, 2014 Hi, I am on H1b and I referred a friend to my vendor last year for which he paid me referral money thru checks. My question is regarding teh taxes I have to file for 2013. Will he be sending me 1099-MISC and if he does will that impact my status? Although Its not an employment money but just a referral money.
