Im newly married and my husband's in the US on h1b .

1.For my h4 is there a need for including my husbands name in my passport (spouse name). As my passport was issued before my marriage. 2. Is there a need for complete change of surname or will my maiden surname work.

2. Your maiden name is fine.

 

Make sure your marriage is registered and you get a marriage certificate.

You can keep your maiden name if you want.

If you didn't take your husband's name, nothing needs to change.

If you took your husband's last name, then you have to change your passport.
