EAD for DUI

Hi ,

 

I got my DUI in mid of OCT 2013 when i was in my final semester.

 

Now Im graduated and looking for full time opportunities and also i got following sentence for my DUI 

 

*) Deferred sentence with probation of six months

*) Alcohol evaluation 

 

I applied for my OPT in nov 2nd week.

USCIS received my packet on Nov 12th 2013. 

 

Since its taking long time Im worried whether my EAD will be denied because of this DUI!!

Could someone please clarify my doubt.

I don't think DUI will effect your EAD approval, but it will show up whenever a employer does your BG verification.
