Hi Guys,

 

My case snap shot

 

Country: India

Cat: EB1C

Concurrently applied

PD: 09/06/2013

FP: 10/05/2013

I-140 Approval : 11/19/2013.(No RFE)

L1 Expiry: Feb 26, 2014

Service center: TSC

 

Here comes the issue, I have not yet received an EAD/AP - raised a SR on 12/10/2013 for I-765 as it was more than 90 days got the standard reply

 

"Your file has already been requested and is currently awaiting assignment to an officer.  Upon receipt, the officer will review your application.  You should receive correspondence within the next 60 days regarding this case.  If you do not receive this correspondence, please contact customer service at the number provided below." 

 

As my L1 expiry is fast approaching little worried why they have not approved EAD, until they work on the I-485. Are there any suggestions/advice?

You will get the GC before the EAD. Just give it a little time. Your L1 expiry is immaterial.

I just got a mail that EAD/AP are approved. So I-485 is now pending.

As you were expecting I was also waiting for the I-485 approval but - one of the on a different forum called USCIS from August filing regarding I-485 to raise a SR and he was not allowed to do so - as USCIS is still processing June I-485's - so I think more 2 months of wait is on.

I got the EAD cards but the validity starts from 10/22/2013 and not Dec 28. I know its not a concern but any insight what could be the reason?
