Default Traveling to India with DUI case pending, for H1b stamping

I got a DUI this morning, 23152 a, court date set for 02/24/14. I am planning a trip to India in Jan second week. What would be the implications of this on my visa stamping since the case is pending ? Can I get the panel report in advance in India to save time ? Should I go to Canada/Jamaica/Mexico for stamping before my India trip if it helps ?

Some background details
1. F1 expired in Jul 2012. OPT was valid till Oct 2013. H1b started on Oct 1 2013. 
2. Got pink slip in F1 visa interview for mentioning computer security as major. 
3. This is my first h1b stamping

Engage a Good DUI Lawyer and an Immigration Attorney. Following guidance from a forum would be another major act of folly which would compound your error. Look up DUI Lawyers in your area and choose one based on their credentials and not how cheap they are. The "Ten Thousand Dollar" ride home will possibly ultimately cost you that.
