H4 - F1 Visa stamping at Tijuana Mexico

Hello Visa Seekers ,

 

My wife has valid H4 visa and we are planning to go Tijuana Mexico for F1 stamping.

She has completed 2 semester on h4 visa and have got approved F1 VIsa.

I want to know all issues and concerns regarding h4-f1 stamping in Tijuana Mexico.

If this is her first F1 visa stamping she cannot go to Mexico. Only for renewal of visa for same class one could go to US consulate at Mexico.

Your wife cannot go to Mexico for H4 o F-1 stamping. Mexico is only for renewals of the same type of visa.

Though US education is a requirement there are posts in this forum where people have gone to Canada and have successfully obtained visas even without an US education. Canada could be an option or Jamaica.
