turagas
Dear Members, Am on H1 and am in USA since 3yrs, Am trying to bring my mother from India to US. While I was collecting the documentation for my mother's visiting visa. I see a required document "Birth Certificate". I realised I do not have a birth certificate for me. As a sponsorer, I do not have a BIRTH CERTIFICATE for me. All I have is my 10th Class certificate and my passport both has my date of birth on it. Also, I'm scared to produce my 10th call certificate as my I have a problem in my 10th Class certificate, My name does not match with the name on the Passport. Name given on ceritificate is - Sudhakar Soma S Turaga. Name on Passport given is - Last name : Turaga Full Name : Subramanya Soma Sudhakar Now am worried, whether I have to get a birth certificate for myself or the existing documents what I have will serve the purpose? Please suggest on this. Thanks in advance. Rgds, Sudhakar Link to comment
pontevecchio
They certainly would not need your birth certificate. Just have her apply. There is no sponsorship involved. Link to comment
