Can my spouse(Canadian PR holder) file for my PR in Canada?

Hi,

 

I came to US for Masters degree and have been working full time since last 3.5 years. My question is, If I marry a Canadian PR holder then can she file PR for me? If yes,

 then how much time it would take for the processing?

 

I want to minimize the time gap to move to Canada, so is there any other way around which might be faster?

Surely you can file for Canadian Immigration as so many have done. Are you implying the process has become tough nowadays? It used to be quite easy. GOOGLE any Canadian Immigration site or look at the Embassy website for details.
