Zohaibiq
Hello, I live in the United States. I belong to India. My Dad, Mom and my little sister resides in India. My Dad and my Mom have a 10 year US visit visa. But my little sister who turned 19 this year has her visa expiring by June/Aug of the next year. She got her visa when she was 16/17. My family in India would like to visit the US next year but with my sister's visa expiring in June/Aug 2014, can she come to the States before the expiration with my parents, and go back to India when they plan to go back or is there any procedure that she has to follow in order to come to the US and return before the expiration? Kindly, please help! Thanks, Zeb Link to comment
pontevecchio
She can come any day before her visa expires and return with her parents . The visa is an antry document. The I94 granted at admission lets one stay. One can stay even after the visa is expired, provided the I94 is current. Link to comment
t75
She can come before the expiration of her visa and may stay to the date she is granted at the border. The expiration date of the visa has no effect on her departure. This date may or may not be the same as your parents. Link to comment
